Terence Crawford (32-0, 23 KOs) has vacated the IBF light welterweight title.

Crawford, 29, won both the WBA and IBF titles earlier this month with a third round knockout over Julius Indongo, having already captured the WBC and WBO belts.

After the fight, the IBF ordered a fight between the American and Sergey Lipinets (12-0, 10 KOs), who was named Indongo's mandatory challenger last December. But Indongo was given an exception to allow him to fight Crawford in the unification clash.

However, Crawford now plans on moving up in weight to 147 pounds and vacated the IBF title just 11 days after defeating Indongo.

Russia's Lipinets will now likely be ordered to face the IBF's next ranked contender, Japan's Akihiro Kondo (29-6-1, 16 KOs) for the vacant title.
